She was predeceased by : her parents, Jesse Rodgers and Maggie Rodgers; her husband Charles E. Worthy; her daughter Cathleen Worthy Calhoun; and her siblings, Sadie Patterson, Letty Hutcheson, Betty Morgan, Francis Smith and Alvin Rodgers.

She is survived by : her children, Chuck Worthy (Janet) of Ball and Pamela Worthy Stackhouse (Jim) of Collierville, TN; and her sister Barbara Silvey of Atlanta, GA.. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
