He was predeceased by: his parents, Sperry Hopkins and Ada Hopkins; and his siblings, Sonny Hopkins of McCory, Randy Hopkins of Savannah, Tennessee and Janice Jacobs of Memphis, Tennessee..
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hopkins; his sister Brenda Ramsey of Memphis, Tennessee; and his sibling's children, Kevin Kimery, Kellie Kimery, Beth McBroome, Heather Phillips and LeeAnn Wampler.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Funeral Home (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
