She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay B Burks and Frankie Gates Burk. She is survived by: her grandson Jonathan Eversley (Quala); her nieces and nephews, Patrice Jones (Robert), Debbie Strickland, Rev. Rachel Williams-Glen (Gordon), Anthony Strickland, Richard Allen Williams and Prince Williams; her godson Leon Key; and her close friend Joyce Springfield-Collins. She is also survived by cousins, friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:55 AM at the St Andrew A M E Church (867 S Pkwy E, Memphis, TN 38106). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Andrew A M E Church (767 S Pkwy E, Memphis, TN 38106).
