We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2020, at the age of 98, Nilla Mai Chambers of Memphis, Tennessee, born in Obion, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lola Chambers and Hugh Chambers; her husband Robert W. Skidmore; and her sister Louise Curlin. She is survived by: her children, Janice Few of Germantown, Tennessee and Harold Skidmore (Debe) of Louisville, Kentucky; her sister Edna Earl Roper of Hickman, Kentucky; her granddaughters, Lisa Yelverton (Adrian), Laura Glenn of Memphis, Courtney Wheatley (Kyle) of Louisville and Danielle Ware (Jason) of New Braunfels, Texas; and her great grandchildren, Kate, Ellie, Mary Randall Yelverton and Maddison Ware. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
