She was predeceased by: her former husband Edward Austin Stacks, Sr.; her husband Wilford "Jack" Atkins; and her grandson Wayne Ward. She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Stacks, Cathy Dockery (Roger), Carole Harris (David) and Edward "Ed" Stacks Jr. (Pattye); her sister Nell Wade Martin; her grandchildren, Peter, Andy, April, Daniel, Stephanie, Catherine, Victoria "Tia" and Faith; and her great grandchildren, Jordan, Hayllie, Conner, Izzii and Ivy.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that all memorials be made in her honor to American Diabetes Association, ASPCA, or to Faith Baptist Church of Bartlett.
