He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Patterson and Beulah Patterson; his son Mark Edward Patterson; his brother-in-law John Kellam; and his niece Kristie Kellam.
He is survived by: his spouse Kathryn Patterson; his daughters, Pamela Patterson Maneclang (Michael) and Paige Patterson Hawkins (Hal); his grandchildren, Sydni Hawkins, Avery Eymard, Amanda Maneclang and Elliot Maneclang; his sister Patrica Kellam; and his nephew Kirk Kellam.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to be made to the Wolf River Singers.
