She was predeceased by: her parents, Burley Barwick and Inez Laws Barwick. She is survived by: her spouse Carol W. Avins; her children, Ronald Avins, Michael Avins, Danny Avins and Wendy Prebish; and her siblings, Bonnie Davis, Victoria Holbrook and Joe Barwick of Sumter. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and many friends.
