He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his sons, Rhea Myers Sumpter, III and Andrew Richard Sumpter; and his parents, Rhea Sumpter and Anne Sumpter of Dunwoody, GA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, parents-in-law, and siblings-in-law.
