He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Raybon and Frances Raybon. He is survived by: his wife Pam Raybon; and his daughters, Serena Dennis (Donald) and Nicole Duran (William). He is also survived by four grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in Richards memory to: St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
