He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmit Monroe White and Ona Mai Dunavant White; his siblings, Buton White of Marie Furr, Joe White and Carolyn Scarberry; his son-in-law Bo Bieber; and his grandchildren, Cody Bieber and Kimberly Emerson.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce White; his children, Anita Bieber, Thomas White, Gary Emerson (Kristy) and Shelly Emerson; his grandchildren, Brittany Schully (Robert), Kristy Corzine (Jamie), Alexis Golem (Zach), Dakoto Emerson (Chelsie), Noah Emerson, Chloe Henry and Danyelle Wise (Harry); his great grandchildren, Bo Schully, Payton Schully, Sadie Virgina Corzine, Barrett Corzine, Bauman Corzine, Hannah Rose, Haley Wize, Jace Golem and Norah Golem; and his sisters, Ginny Frisbie, Dorthy Hundley (Donald) and Faye Brayden.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forest Hill Funeral Home (2440 Whitten Rd, Memphis, TN 38133). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Forest Hill Cemetery South (2545 E Holmes Rd, Memphis, TN 38118).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in Robert's memory to St. Jude or the Kidney Foundation.
