She was predeceased by: her parents, James B. Creedon and Sloay Creedon; her husband John J. Ryan, Jr.; her daughter Bridget Ryan; her daughter-in-law Teresa Ryan; and her siblings, Mary Catherine O. P. and James B. Creedon, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Mary Perry (Larry), Ruth Blackburn (Kenneth), Catherine Bailey (James), Sheila Linderman (Clark), John J. Ryan III, James P. Ryan and Michael Ryan (Leigh Ann). She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and a niece and nephew.
The family requests that donations in her memory be sent to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, St. Joseph's Indian School in Chamberlain, S.D., Sacred Heart Southern Missions in Walls, MS, or Mercy Home for Street for Boys and Girls in Chicago.
