It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley June Piercy of Memphis, Tennessee, who passed away on January 14, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Dayton and Mollie Gibson Larimer; and her sisters, Jane Giljames and Delores Larimer. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Joel C. Piercy; her children, Lora Lynne Piercy Previtera (Tony) of Johnson City and John Courtland Piercy (Jil) of Johnson City; and her grandson Jacob Courtland Piercy. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
