It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vernon Shelton Jr. (Memphis, Tennessee), born in Shelbyville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Lee Shelton, Sr. and Annie Bell Overcast Shelton; and his sister Nina Warren. He is survived by: his wife Lynn Womack Shelton of Shelbyville; his children, Brit Shelton (Trina) of Rutherford County and Julee Kendall (Sean); his sister Loretta Crowell (C. S.); and his grandchildren, Jessica Ann, Owen, Liam, Madilyn Lee, Caitlin and Quinn. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, and father-in-law.
