She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Stott and Besse Stott; her son Jeffery William Johnston; her grandchildren, Keith Johnston (Christy), Chris McLelland and Jessica Dvorscak (James); and her daughter-in-law Janice Johnston. She was also cherished by 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude.
