It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wendell W Jewell Jr. in Memphis, Tennessee, born in Humboldt, Tennessee, who passed away on April 21, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by : his wife Lynn Jewell; his son Trey Jewell (Erin); his siblings, Dru Huffaker (Mel), Leigh Kersh (Steve) and Kenneth Michael Goodrich (Ava); his stepmother Neely Joyce Mehlin; and his mother-in-law Martha "Gerry" Holliday.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colonial Baptist Church (1503 Colonial Rd, Memphis, TN 38117). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
