He was predeceased by: his parents, John Robertson and Lillie Taylor; his former wife Evelyn Marie Thomas; and his siblings, Johnnie Barlow, Delores Jackson and David Robertson (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his children, William Robin and Elizabeth Christina; his wife Alma Robertson; his daughter Robin Mitchell; his grandchildren, William Toler (Lisa) and Elizabeth Simpson (Joshua); his great grandchild Evelyn Camille; his sister Katie Mallory; his nieces, Karen Janese Boozer (Ron) and Cheryl Mallory; his stepchildren, Edgar, Carolyn and Andrew Hawkins (Toya); and also Evelyn.
