He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Leonadis Axley and Sarah Mae Parker; his wife Gladys Colleen Axley of Michie, TN.; his children, Teena Colleen Campbell and Ricky Lee Axley; and his sister Kathleen.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Renee DeVaughn (Nathan) of Augusta, GA., David Leon Axley (Donna) of Michie, TN., Steven Dwayne Axley (Lisa) of Collierville, TN. and Jonathan Neal Axley (Beth) of Michie, TN; his grandchildren, Dallas Campbell, Kristen Johnston (Michael), Kaitlin Campbell, Tiffany Swanson (Eric), Steven Gregory Strickler (Casaundra), Conor DeVaughn, Rhianna Brown (Dan), William Axley, Alan Axley, Addison Axley, Amber Davidson (Alex) and Alanna Wagoner (Marcus); his great grandchildren, Allyssa Campbell, Clayton Campbell, Caroline Swanson, Samuel Swanson, Sebastian Swanson, Tyler Strickler, Giuliana Strickler, Shyleah Carroll, Keylie Pitts and Cole Pitts; and his great great grandchildren, Nova Campbell and William Reid Wagoner.
