He was predeceased by : his grandparents, Juanita Gaither, Ruby Cooksey Ervin, Donald Gaither and Ben Ervin. He is survived by : his parents, Franklin E. Ervin of Middleton and Donna M. Gaither Sparks of Pocahontas; his daughter Mikayla A. Ervin of Bethel Springs; his sister Louwanna M. Blake of Glen, MS; his niece Juanita Cleek; and his nephew Jacob Cleek. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in his name may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
