She was predeceased by : her parents, Clyde Rushing and Nettie Rushing; and her siblings, Pete Rushing, J. D. Rushing, Joe Rushing, Frank Rushing, Idell Clenney, Shirley Murphree and Polly Powers.

She is survived by : her brother Clyde Rushing, Jr.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
