He was predeceased by: his parents, James W. Foley Sr. and Elizabeth Dwyer Foley; his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Foley and Edward M. Foley; and his wife Teresa M. Foley.
He is survived by: his close friend Zuka; his children, Ellen Sartori (Jay) and Matt Foley (Megan); his stepsons, James David Johnson, William Runyan and Chris Runyan; and his sister Therese "Terry" Foley Poindexter. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
