She was predeceased by: her parents, Alexander Chavis and Willie Chavis (Lindley). She is survived by: her husband Dr. Lee Roy Barclay; her sons, Michael and George; her siblings, Martha Nell Arbin, Charles Chavis, Don Chavis and Barbara Wilkinson; her children, Lee Barclay (Debbie) of Millington and Sharon Alexander (Bill) of Hendersonville, NC; her daughter-in-law Terri Barclay; her grandchildren, Brian Ellis (Ginger) of Hood River, OR, Jordan Alexander of Dallas, TX, Alex Barclay (Sarah) of Nashville, Emilee Holliday (Johnny) of Atoka, Seth Alexander of Nashville, Nicholas Barclay of Millington and Macy Barclay of Charlotte, NC; her great grandchildren, Remington Ellis, Rune Ellis and Claire Barclay; and her cousins, Sue Geiger and John Lindley. She is also survived by nieces and nephew.
In lieu of flowers, Carolyn asked that donations be made to Meals on Wheels, Friends of Hospice and ALPS in Morristown.
