We are sad to announce that on January 12, 2021, at the age of 66, Charlie Duty Sr. of Morristown, Tennessee passed away. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sue Duty Barton and Billy Howard Duty; his brothers, Mikel Duty, Billy Duty and Dewey Lee Barton, Jr.; his step-father Dewey Lee Barton; and his step-brother Roy Lee Barton.
He is survived by : his son Charlie Duty, Jr. (Shonda); his grandchildren, Caitlin Sarah Duty (Mason Swint) and Chuck Duty; his great grandchild Parker Rhea Swint; and his siblings, Robert Duty (Jeff Wills) and Brenda Lynn (Jeff). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Alder Funeral Home (4524 W Andrew Johnson Hwy, Morristown, TN 37814). A funeral service was held on Sunday, January 17th 2021 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Hamblen Memory Gardens (5421 E Andrew Johnson Hwy, Russellville, TN 37814).
