He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Nellie Geneva Shipley. He is survived by: his wife Ola B. Shipley; his sons, David, Wayne and John Shipley; his brother Joe Shipley; his stepchildren, Janice, Debbie Winstead and Eddie Winstead; and his close friend Sammy Campbell.
