He was predeceased by: his parents, Lafayette Wilson (Fayte) and Hessie Phillips Wilson; his son Bobby Wilson; and his siblings, Mary Lee Shepherd, Willa Mae Arnold and Samuel Wilson (Earl Atwood).
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Cornett Wilson; his son Michael Wilson (Jennifer) of Kingsport, TN; his sister Grace Osborne of Mountain City, TN; and his grandchildren, Reid, Vada Wilson, Mike White, Don Payne, Buford Lipford, Kenneth Crowder and Eugene Mast.
