He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Cress and Peggy Ward Cress; and his brother Jeffrey Allen Cress. He is survived by: his sister Donna Lipford (Richard) of Conover, NC; his son Shelby Cress (Shelbi) of Ripley, TN; his grandson Brody Cress; and his sibling's children, Dawson Cress of Mountain City, TN and Jennifer Hawkins (Mike) of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins and several special friends.
