With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Margie Stout in Mountain City, Tennessee, who passed away on June 23, 2023 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Everette C. Baker and Cleda H. Surgener Baker; her brothers, Howard L. Baker and Jack C. Baker; her husband Ralph G. Stout; and her son Jeffrey Baker Stout (Laurie).
She is survived by : her children, Howard A. Stout (Wanda), Mary Elizabeth Stout Slatery (Patrick), Linda Sue Stout Nelson (Robert) and Carole Ann Stout Shore (William); her grandchildren, Michele Shore Lane (Richard), Jeanie Stout Bower (Rick Wallace), Martin Slatery (Jody), Rob Nelson (Heather), Brian Shore (Kristin), Megan Nelson Williams (Jamie), Missy Stout Haney (Eric), Erik Nelson (Lisa), Katherine Slatery (Lee), Matthew Stout (Sydney), Alex Stout and Joe Stout; her nephew Mike J. Baker (Barb); her nieces, Robin Baker Nyland (John) and Jean Baker Garrison (Tom); and her friends, Nancy Wills, Wanda Payne, Sandra, Larry Hutchinson, Nancy Brown, Debbie Ray, Joe Sherwood, Cheryl Baker and Warren Stewart. She is also survived by twenty-nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers and food, friends and family may make a donation to the First Methodist Church of Mountain City.
