We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2024, at the age of 83, Mary Alice Norris of Mountain City, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John B. Snyder and Lee Wolfe Snyder; her husband Jim Norris; her brother Freddie Snyder; and her nephew-in-law Jeff Shaw.

She is survived by : her nieces, Sheila Shaw and Kim Overman; her nephew Joe Snyder; her great-nephews, Lucas Snyder, Jackson Snyder, Eli Snyder and Trevor Overman; her sister-in-law Brenda Snyder; and her close friends, Michael and Kathy Eller.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 9:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Charles B. Hux Chapel at Hux & Lipford Funeral Home (300 W Main St, Mountain City, TN 37683). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 17th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Happy Valley Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnson County Senior Citizens Center.
