She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mayes of Washington and Aline Mayes; her husband George Collier; her son Joseph Collier; and her siblings, Peggy Gooch, Elnora Alexander, Margaret Spice, Jenny Groomster, George and James Mayes.
She is survived by: her children, George (Mary), Roberta, Larry, Lance, Eli, Stacey (Bruce) and Tracy (Karen); her siblings, Edward Mayes and Sara Gooch; and her sisters-in-law, Annie Bass and Joyce Christmon. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
