He is survived by: his wife Gale Smith Clemence; his children, Yvonne Clemence of Nolensville, John Clemence (Jill) of Murfreesboro and Jennifer Clemence of Antioch; and his grandsons, Benjamin and Matthew. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
