She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Hartwell and Juanita Tidwell Cox; her son John Darwin Reese Toombs; and her niece Shannon Michelle Green. She is survived by: her husband Richard A. Davis (Big Rick); her siblings, Thomas Hartwell Cox, Jr. (Debbie), Vicky Green (Mark) and Jerry Cox (Sabrina); her stepchildren, Ricky Davis (Sandi), Regina Garringer (Kent) and Chris Davis; and her close friends, James and Meranda Pelfrey. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
