He was predeceased by: his parents, Irson Boyd and Hassie Boyd. He is survived by: his daughters, Tina Makris (Mike) and Lisa Brown (Curt); his grandchildren, Hayden, Laila, Evan and Cynthia; and his sister Donna Horton (Jamie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the National Fragile X Foundation.
