It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doss Anthony Alexander (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), born in Trion, Georgia, who passed away on September 1, 2018, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fay Linly Alexander and Mary Becker Alexander; his sisters, Faye Fite and Marjorie Davis; and his great grandchild Benjamin Reece Nichols.
He is survived by: his spouse Barbara Ann George Alexander; his children, Jennie Howse (Rick), Bodie Pitts, Jr. (Cassie) of Murfreesboro and Mike (Mitch); his sister Marlene Hewgley (Howard) of Georgia; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Moore of Murfreesboro. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
