He was predeceased by: his parents, Wade H. Thornton and Virginia Oleane Lowe Thornton; and his son Jason Andrew Thornton. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Jordan (Jonathan); his grandchildren, Kayley Jade Phelps and Lucy Grace Jordan; the mother of his children Dorothy Rogers of Murfreesboro, TN; and his significant other Genevieve Sherrell of Nashville, TN..
