She was predeceased by: her parents, James C. Foster and Nannie Duke Foster; her husband Murfreesboro Chief of Police; and her daughter-in-law Melinda Adams Vance. She is survived by: her sons, Charles Wade Parker (Judy) of Murfreesboro, Ralph Vance Jr. of Murfreesboro and Tom D. Vance (Nancy) of Murfreesboro; her grandchildren, Penny Graham (Roderick), Katie Vance (Matt Alexander), Ben T. Vance (Tiara), Ashley Jensen (Michael) and Andrew T. Vance; and her great grandchildren, Emily Jane Jensen, Ethan Thomas Jensen, Wiley Adams Vance and John Elliott Vance.
