She was predeceased by: her brothers, William Hanbery and James C. Hanbery; her son Joe Carter Daniels; and her friend Paul Clary of New Bern, N. C. She is survived by: her children, Billie Ione Zimmermann (McCoy) of Murfreesboro and John Curtis McCoy; and her grandchildren, Anna, Courtney, Morgan Daniels, Michelle Ione Donahue (Zimmermann) and Eric Michael Zimmermann.
