She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel Hastings. She is survived by: her sons, William "Bill" (Elaine Hastings), Robert "Bob" (Diana Hastings) and Phillip Hastings (Marty Eberhardt); and her grandchildren, Wayne Hastings, Brian Hastings, Kim Hastings Guilbeau, Rachel Hastings McGrath, Paul Schramski Towers and Samuel Schramski.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations in memory of Evelyn to Laurelwood Assisted Living Facility, Emerald Coast Hospice, or Escambia County Search and Rescue.
