He was predeceased by: his wife Doreen Miller Hicks; and his son Billy Hicks. He is survived by: his children, Donald Hicks (Tricia), Cheryl Hicks Settle and Michael Hicks (Kirsten); and his grandchildren, Matthew, Mark, Melody, Chloe, Brooke, Nikki and BJ. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
