It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Blount (Murfreesboro, Tennessee), born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on April 9, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph R. Blount and Reba Peacock Blount; his sister Billie Blount; and his grandson Adam. He is survived by: his children, James "Jay", Robert Blount of Westmorland, TN, George E. "Eddie" Blount Jr. (Deborah) of Westmorland, TN and Corinne Worrall of Murfreesboro, TN; his great grandchildren, Nia Rose, Anderson, Killian, Ava, Liberty, Alex and Matthew; and his sister-in-law Joyce Monast (Anita Michael).
