He was predeceased by: his wife Margaret; his parents, A. B. Fann and Georgia Fann; and his siblings, Bruce Fann, Jr. and Lillie Jackson Barrett.
He is survived by: his brother W. D. Thomason; his children, Terry Fann (Vicki) of Murfreesboro and Tammy Fann Davis (David); his grandchildren, Drew Fann (Ali) of Nashville, Chase Fann of Murfreesboro, Jeremy Davis (Dianna) of Nashville and Melissa Davis of Redding, California; and his sisters, Mable Marie Schaffer and Ruby Jean Boyce of LaVergne.
