He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry F. Marshall and Carolyn Haring Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Joy K. Marshall; his son Joseph Daniel Marshall (Amanda); his stepdaughters, Pat Pledger (Rich Schremmer) and Pam Sykes (James); and his grandchildren, Bailey Sykes, Shea and Izzy Marshall.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
