He is survived by: his former wife Clara "Dene" Branham of Lebanon, TN; his children, Carroll O'Brien (Kerry) of Shelbyville, TN, Margaret May (Warren) of West Virginia and Laws McCullough (Stacey) of Murfreesboro; his grandchildren, Louis Legarde Battey, III (Keller), Emily May Koster (Reid), Warren Hamilton May, Jr. and Kerry M. O'Brien; and his great grandchildren, Ford Battey and May Koster.
