He was predeceased by: his parents, George Brown and Leila Brown; his son Jeff Brown; and his siblings, Lorene Brown O'Dell, Polly Brown Buckner, Houston Brown, Ida Brown, Homer Brown and Clara Bell Brown Weaver.
He is survived by: his wife Bess Marie Brown; his children, James Brown (Wanda), Terry Quinn (Jerry) and Trudy Lerner (Joe); and his sister Virginia Jackson. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
