He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lowery and Fannie Barrett Lowery; his wife Patty Lowery; and his brother Johnny Lowery. He is survived by: his daughters, Tammy Davidson (Jason) of Hillsboro, Cathy Abel (Rich) and Glenda Morrison of Woodbury; his grandchildren, Braden Davidson, Brittany Tucci (Andrew) and Kailey Abel; his siblings, Martha Cawthon of Murfreesboro, Robert Lowery of Murfreesboro, Grady Lowery (Lucy) of Murfreesboro, Thomas Lowery of Murfreesboro, Michael Lowery of Murfreesboro and Jerry Lowery (Beth) of Phonenix, AZ.; and the mother of his children Deborah Gilley. He is also survived by 3 great grandsons.
