He was predeceased by: his parents, James Robert Steelman and Louise Atnip Steelman Comer; and his brother James Ronald Steelman. He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Wheaton of North Carolina, Carolyn Johnston of Nolensville and Tom Steelman (Sandra) of Murfreesboro; his nieces and nephews, Allison Hamilton, Janice Roberts, Terry Roberts, Debbie Drigger, Carolan Bryant, Jamie Steelman and Bobby Thames; and his sister-in-law Kelli Toney.
