He was predeceased by: his wife Martha "Emily" Sant Amour; his parents, Elizabeth Amour and Frank Sant Amour; his siblings, Margaret, Louella, Bernice, Francis, Edward and Donald; his grandson Aaron Duckwall; and his son-in-law Charles Duckwall.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Duckwall of Marshall, MI, Martha Kapur (Anil) of Washington, DC, Louise Wilson (Chris) of Valley Village, CA, John Sant Amour Jr. (Sharon) of Murfreesboro, TN and James Sant Amour (Marcia) of Annapolis, MD; his grandchildren, Chad (Molly Duckwall), Alex (Nick Kapur), Jack (Michelle), Ryan (Michael Wilson), Ann Sant Amour (Katie) and Maggie Sant Amour; and his great grandchildren, Kali Paulk, Makenzie Morris and Tessa Kapur.
