He was predeceased by: his parent John Wesley Beaty, Sr.; his wife Sara Louis Grimes Beaty; and his daughter Cathy Whittle. He is survived by: his parent Paralee Ledbetter Beaty; his children, Larry Beaty (Annie) of Miami Beach, FL and Connie Reasonover of Smyrna, TN; and his grandchildren, Michael Reasonover, Alicia Mangrum (Todd), Damon Reasonover (Krystal), Rachel Graves (Dustin), Brad Beaty (Ashley), Amy Miles (Jacob), Meredith Greene (Jamey) and Matthew Whittle.
