She was predeceased by: her parents, Byrda Marchbanks Pratt and Joseph Daniel Pratt; her husband Charles Wheeler Hord, Sr. (Bubba); her sister Kathleen Pratt Ross (Kathy); and her stepfather Gailford Bennett.
She is survived by: her children, Joy Marchbanks Hord (Neal Cook), Mary Elizabeth Hord, Charles Wheeler Hord, Jr. (Marla) and Benjamin Epps Hord (Barbara); her grandchildren, Alexander, Virginia Cook, Abigail, Benjamin Hord, Jr., Teddy Anne and Wheeler Hord, III; and her nephew Kevin Ross (Kim). She is also survived by many nieces and other nephews and cherished family members.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
