She was predeceased by: her parent Luther Wilson McKnight; her husband Donald Joseph Evans; and her sons, Donald Joseph Evans, Jr. and James Charles Dennis Evans. She is survived by: her parent Willie Bernice Bradley McKnight; and her children, Donna Long (Paul) of Murfreesboro and John Daniel Evans of Nashville. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Father Ryan High School Library.
