It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Poindexter of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, born in Clarksville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 7, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Powers and Lucille Powers; her former husbands, Wendell Comperry and David Tompkins; and her stepson Todd Poindexter.
She is survived by: her children, Gary Comperry and Debbie Field; her grandchildren, Christopher Comperry, Benjamin Comperry, Joshua Field, Christian Field, Andrew Field, Gregg Poindexter, Tina Poindexter and Aidan Poindexter; her great grandchild Carolyn Comperry; her stepdaughters, Pam Poindexter, Amber Ablefonlin and Kelly Poindexter; her niece Becky Powers; and her nephews, Rusty Powers and Glen Powers.
