She was predeceased by: her father Nolan Gooden; her sister Kathy Bouchard; and her stepfather Harland Cornwell. She is survived by: her husband Randy Burroughs; her children, Jessica McEntyre and Jonathon Dennis of Marietta Georgia; her grandchildren, Applyn McEntyre and Ansel McEntyre; her mother Shirley Gooden of Akron, Ohio.; her sister Karen Parsons of Akron; and her half-brothers, Skip Gooden of Texas and Dave Lambert of Pennsylvania. She is also survived by several other half-brothers and sisters.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations be made to Adopt a Sea Turtle in Karla's name at her favorite Georgia Sea Turtle Center.
